"Like: the location it was really accessible to the fwy and closed to the business that I was conducting, places to eat and gas stations are near by, indoor pool and jacuzzi are a plus. Did not like: housekeeping only exchange the towels and empty the trash cans, did not sweep the floor (it was needed since the door did not have a threshold or a sweeper on the door so dust and small debris zip under the door into the room) or made up the bed, neither refill the shampoo and body wash at the...

"Staff at checkin helpful and happy. Rooms and property seem very clean and orderly. We ate in the onsite breakfast place. The food was good a reasonably priced."

"Hotel is definitely an older hotel but it was clean and the pick up and drop off service was excellent mostly because we had a late flight at midnight. They don’t offer no coffee in the morning and expect to pay 5.00 for a small cup."

"There was some confusion when I checked in about the breakfast I paid for through Expedia, but it was figured out. The staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were above average and not some make your own waffle experience. Everything was clean, although they forgot to empty out the fridge in my room, but that’s not a big issue. My biggest complaint is paid parking for a hotel in Bakersfield that isn’t even close to whatever “downtown” Bakersfield is. That is a $10 joke for a property like this....

"We had a wonderful night stay there with our dog Molly. We felt welcomed from the minute we walked in. There was a nice grassy spot for Molly to use outside. The room was large and clean for the most part – I think the carpet needs to be cleaned however. Breakfast was good. I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Ensure the room you are reserving is not located in the annex and/or next to an exit door. Bakersfield was 100+ degrees and heat permeated through the exit doors causing our room to be very warm despite the air conditioner. The constant opening and closing of the exit doors were heard throughout the night and early morning."

"Showed up at 3:50pm. Check in time was 4 pm. Wanted to charge me an early check in fee. It over 100F outside, but yes I went back out to my truck. Breakfast was a very sorry experience. Thankfully this was just a stop and not a destination. Will not be staying at this location again. Not located in the best part of town either"
