"Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. "Staff are super friendly and helpful. I like the fact that the accessible rooms have a walk in shower opposed to climbing into a lowered bath, which some similar priced hotels nearby have. The location is convenient to where my family live, and away from the city centre, but adjacent to the showground, so depending upon which activities people wish to access, may impact customers choosing this venue."

"Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand. Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided. Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz! Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with...

"The room was clean and spacious for the price we paid. There has been a bit of a refresh done within the last couple of years which is nice. Over the last two visits I've had it feels like the quality of the breakfast has slipped a bit though which is a shame."

"We all loved staying at the hotel, it was clean and great relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in a suite and whilst it was lovely and big and clean a few things needed attention! Door handle on toilet door was half hanging off, toilet flush was loose and the jacuzzi bath plug never worked, so therefore the water kept emptying away. Balcony could have done with a clean too. The only other problem is the hotel does not really cater for people that are gluten free! Could not have sausages, Hash browns at...

"Pretty central for town clean tidy nice atmosphere . Unfortunately car park small so had to use public parking (free 18-00 to 08-00) and the pillows weren't very comfortable "

"Nice old style place with good rooms with Nespresso coffee machines and clean towels. Comfortable bed and good free parking tucked from but closed to fast roads. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Will go again."

"A great find within walking distance of pubs and eateries and yet away from the town centre. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were efficient and polite. With an excellent breakfast and plenty of parking the only downside I can report is that some of the furniture in the room was a little dated. "

"On the whole enjoyed our one night stay. Property is lovely and our ground floor room was clean and warm. Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome.The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection. Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again."
