"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

"Not exactly a five star hotel. Ok though for a stopover."

"Good room, very nice breakfast, helpful staff"

"Staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. It’s ideally located - getting around the northern Cotswolds was easy by either bus or taxi, and it’s very accessible to the Cotswold Way. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful and characterful property"

"Rooms were clean n bed was comfortable. They cater to us hikers."

"Beautiful hotel, stunning rooms and great location for Cheltenham"

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel area was dated and rough round the edges but clean. My bed had a dent down the centre so prominent it felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Over all, for the location it was good value for money."

"The room was very nice, Food in the pub was good. Excellent service."

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was very basic. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was slow at times. Ideal location for a stay in the Cotswolds."
