They were very responsive and she came at 10 pm to check and poured chemicals down the drains to help. This is apparently a problem across the island- we did notice a stench in other places. "We absolutely LOVED our stay at Amor. We had the most beautiful and relaxing few days. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. Stam, the hotel manager was extremely helpful and personable. We really recommend making a quick 3 minute car ride down to the local beach with the most beautiful and delicious restaurant, Yalos. "Nice property. Not super fancy but on the boating dock which is super convenient for private cruises and catamaran activities. Bus stop close to the property and walkable distance if taxi’s are too expensive. There are also 2-3 restaurants next to the property with a mini market for souvenirs and toiletries. "Mainly went here to stay near the Akrotiri archeological site. The room blew me away. Got there early and my room wasn't ready. Got a bit of an upgrade. OMG. 5 star room. Food at the resort was spectacular. 5 minute walk to main town of Akrotiri. 15 to archeological site, but 30 back uphill. Amazing resort and view. Want to go back to this place."

"The hotel it’s self was amazing. The only downsides where the room was very cold especially in the evening. The staff where incredible in terms of house keeping and reception team but some areas of the hotel seemed little bit ridiculous like a very limited vegetarian menu option with zero flexibility to serve pizza from lunch time menu for dinner when the restaurant was completely empty and chefs where idly. Overall a very nice relaxing stay away from hustle and bustle from main town. "
