"We've had a wonderful two night stay, in an ample sized room for two people, which was clean and well supplied with the essentials. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows, additional chairs and space to work or nake snacks. Very helpful, friendly staff who try accommodate all requests and queries. Very ample food options for breakfast and veggie options on request for hot food. Flexible options if you need food to go too. Despite being near the dual carrage way it was quiet. " This is a wonderful B&B tucked away in the Northamptonshire village of Brigstock. We stayed in The Willow room for 2 nights. The room has a super comfy king size bed, with that home from home feeling. The roll top bath and walk in shower was a pleasant surprise! Sam was the most gracious host, her attention to detail, super breakfast choices, and cookie treats in our room.
We will most definitely be back to Swallows Rest on our next UK visit, and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here."

"We enjoyed our stay and will return, only gripe , fire alarm went off at 2am for a few seconds, woke us up and startled us. No reasonable explanation was given ."
"This site was just greenspace on the edge of an industrial estate when I grew up here and it seemed a little weird pulling into an area where I had my first driving lessons on a Saturday morning as it was all but deserted over the weekend. Not now, there's a busy looking pub literally staggering distance away, the ubiquitous Greggs, few other structures the purpose of which didn't register. Very quiet, all I can hear is doves cooing.
Staff friendly, nice to even have staff, last place I stayed...
