In the end I just blew off both days and booked another stay somewhere else myself and ate the loss avoiding booking via hotels.com. The location was excellent just 5 minute walk to Mirabella Gardens which was main attraction wanted to see and easy walk to Old town. Overall great experience. Would recommend for nice stay in Salzburg."
