"I appreciated the historical information shared about this property (found in a notebook in my room. The house is somewhat secluded behind a good deal of shrubbery/trees, which adds a sense of seclusion and mystery. It is large, neat, and cool, with 24/7 coffee and beverages available. Privacy was respected. 5 bedrooms are upstairs so it is important to know there are stairs if mobility is an issue. Staff was responsive to any questions and/or needs. The pool was beautiful, and lit with pretty lights after dark. Breakfast the 3 mornings I was there, was prompt and delicious, served in a charming dining room. At least 2 cats roam the property. They kept their distance and appeared old and wise. I will stay again, no question about it."
"When trying to get into our room the safety latch had been turned to keep anyone from getting into the room. Had to go back to lobby to get help. The clerk tried to accuse us of turning the latch. Told her we were just checking in and haven't even been in the room. She had no way to get the door open. Had to go back to lobby to get another room. Then back to get my partner and carry everything to another floor. Was very inconvenient since we are elderly. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about."
"Thanks for not letting me have the first floor room that I requested when I arrived with my 70 pound electric bicycle.
Thanks for not having an individual thermostat in the room and you guys get to decide the temperature so I can be hot and uncomfortable.
Thanks for having a front desk representative so lazy that she can’t walk 5 feet over to the amenities and show me the medicine that she says is there but isn’t.
Thanks for starting breakfast at lunchtime.
Other than that, everything was lovely.
Thanks again, Disconfort Inn."
"Are one key card did not work had to return to the office. Commode would not flush and the handle was about to fall off. We learned the hard way this Super 8 was a privately owned Motel."
