They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. "Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you "

"Great location. Facilities great happy nice staff Only downside was they didn’t have air con in our room. As they said listed building so couldn’t have air con. But they did have a small fan in The room Which helped a bit. Never ever wanted air con in any hotel anywhere in the world. But as England is having a heat wave in June. "Enjoyed my stay, the hotel was clean and tidy and had good amenities including a great breakfast and dinner was convenient rather than 5 star. The other challenge was onsite or limited onsite parking. Would I stay again, yes I would if I am back visiting my client."

Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either.
