"This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before. "

"Stayed in the little huts at the top of the hill. Really well kitted out. Underfloor heating so the cabin warmed up fast. Would be good if you had dogs because you can just let them straight out. Evening meal was really nice. Could have eaten everything off the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Didn't use the gym but it has enough for you do do a work out and get a sweat on. Would stay here again. "

"We rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. We parked outside the pub & were greeted by the friendly team who showed us the room which had water left out & tea/coffee making facilities. It's everything you would expect from a 14th century inn.
