"The room was too small to even open a suitcase; hardly 40cm space between the bed and the wall and the windows so that operating the curtains was a bit of a faff. The ventilation did not follow the set temperatures and was incredibly noisy. The hairdryer was efficient but I didn't manage to get power from the socket near the mirror and ended up brushing my hair sat on the bed, using the socket that was by the tiny bedside table. "Beautifully appointed and really cosy, despite how spacious the rooms are. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. I was a bit surprised that the rooms didn't offer more amenities or extra comforts as standard, like fresh milk or biscuits, or vanity kits. Appreciate these are environmental considerations, but providing them at an extra charge feels a bit steep given the usual cost of a room here."

"An unexpected stay for us as the trains back home were cancelled, so the hotel was a welcome retreat from a stressful situation. The room was beautiful and spacious. Really comfortable Super king sized bed. The breakfast was amazing- despite being very busy with all the stranded travellers, it didn't feel too crowded or rushed.
Will definitely stay again under different circumstances."

"Very nice hotel. Extremely quiet considering it is located in the centre of Manchester. The room was immaculate and of a decent size. Very convenient for the Palace theatre, where I attended a show. Easily accessible for trams and lots of pubs and restaurants. Close to the main library and other places of interest. I would recommend the hotel and would be happy to stay there again. I didn’t have breakfast but will try that next time I visit."
