"It was just perfect! I only have one complaint, I rented this particular room with a door opening outside on the porch to be able to smoke. They still wouldn't allow any smoking outside your door. Unfortunately it rained out entire stay with no where dry to smoke. I understand , but for us smokers it wasn't pleasant. But it is very clean and well maintained with a lot of nice amenities!"

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"The man at the front desk just handed me a key. He did not say anything about the breakfast, gym or dock on the salt pond. Another guest told us about the breakfast. It was the May long weekend and neither the pool or hot tub were open. Or maybe they were open but I couldn’t understand the man cleaning the pool! The pool is not heated and hot tub was cold. "Hotel Maria is a real gem- low-key beach front, impeccably clean with a wonderful Italian restaurant right there overlooking the beach. I happened to meet the owner and he was incredibly gracious and welcoming. The hotel staff were so accomodating to all that we needed. "Rooms were lovely. Heated Swimming pool was wonderful. The continental breakfast is presented beautifully...muffins, bagels, pancakes, yogurt , fruit, coffee and tea. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The Breezeway has its own private beach...so enjoyable to sit and watch the waves. My family and I look forward to staying next year.. Susan"

"Dank and musty smelling room, beat carpet with stains, AC unit had caked on dirt in vent. Tried to air out and had ro spray freshener both days but I'd still stunk. Plus when we showed up on Saturday afternoon they were pouring concrete outside the room. Horrible room 112. No other rooms available. Will never go back. "

The maintenance person came and showed us how to use the remote and at that point I said that I think the upstairs unit is not working, which is what was keeping the heat from turning on however he assured me that it was working. "Our first breakfast was excellent. The second time was horrible 😫 the staff quiet not together. Our room was short of soap, shampoo and I asked for towel nobody seems to care and not helpful. The only 1 who was kind enough to do thier job is the young man who was in main entrance who open doors, he did more for than the rest of the people we asked help."

"I really like staying here in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and frig and microwave, so I can buy groceries and do my own cooking in the room. A big space for a reasonable price. Very clean property, well-maintained, and you only have to cross the street and you're on the beach, which is a BIG PLUS!"
