"Lovely country inn with rooms above the tavern. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The Sunday roast was fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast sitting by the fireplace on a chilly morning. "

The breakfast room is exquisitely decorated with busts of famous peots in which you can eat a sumptuous cooked full english breakfast. The property is wonderfully peaceful and the beds as beautifully soft and comfortable.
If you are looking for a modern sparse hotel then this is not it, and you should look elsewhere. If you like a wonderful property with bags of history to it then you are in luck!"
