"I got there about 45 min earlier than check-in and they are pretty strict about 3:00 pm - so I went to find something to do before I could get into the room. It was a holiday weekend so very crowded and noisy. No one was really checking the property after hours as there were families and kids screaming well into midnight. Parking is also pretty tight. "The man running Penny's diner and the hotel front desk gave my room away "to railroaders because we have a contract" was very rude and thought it was funny with his friends that I had driven from steamboat for.my room and there wasnt 1 for me when infact it was paid for . Resulting in me sleeping in my car due to no refund and no where else to stay with my son in the hospital. Will never reckmen this hotel to anyone. Very disgusted with the whole situation a reservation should have been up...
