"About 30 mins from the Shenandoah! And 5 mins from Luray where you can get food.
Staff was very helpful with check in.
Beds are a little hard but overall clean and tidy."
"Great if cheap and cheerful works for you - particularly as it's around the corner from the Luray caverns. However would consider this a motel rather than a hotel and cleanliness could be better, we found a dead bug on the floor. It feels the hotel has started to renovate and make things better but needs more investment and time to upgrade everything to align with other Quality Inn locations."
"The hotel has really gone downhill. We had to move to 4 different rooms: 1st room had mouse droppings all in the pull out bed, 2nd room had mold everywhere, 3rd room the toilet was flooding the bathroom and the 4th room had fleas in the bed. We were supposed to stay another day but checked out early. We were refused a refund even with all the issues and room changes. Will never stay here again."
"I checked in to the hotel at 10pm after driving 10 hours from Massachusetts on the way to Charlotte...front desk guy was great...room nice and clean...but sounded like the highway was outside in the parking lot...and then when the AC turned on every 15 or so minutes it sounded like tractor trailers were in the room...I could never fall asleep and got up and left at 2:15 a.m to continue the drive....if staying here make sure you are not in an even #'d room....was a complete waste of money and I was charged $50 for a dog"
Holiday Inn Express Woodstock-Shenandoah Valley by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Food was great. Room was ok. But we didnt have any internet access. Our room was a black hole. The room next had internet. But not us. They gave us a number to a tech guy but after an hour there was still no solution. We were not offered a different room until we complained at check-out to a different staff member.. too little.. too late"
"We were very satisfied with the cordial staff, delicious classic cuisine, the comfortable, well-stocked bedroom and bath, the overall stunning beauty of the imposing Georgian architecture, commanding from the hilltop site thrilling views of the surrounding Massanutten and Blue Ridge Mountains and the Page Valley.
Obviously we thoroughly enjoyed and savored our stay."
