"This building is old but the historical value in Fernandina is priceless. Our experience with the staff, shout out to Julie and Becky, was fantastic. It was a worthwhile visit for us...and Yes we would visit again. Do yourself a favor have Brunch while there!"

"I know now where to stay every time I go to Gainesville. If you are looking for warmth and charm, and want something that resonates the south with its pretty gardens, Spanish moss, and trickling fountains, then this is it. I love bed and breakfasts for this very reason— the homely feeling. You can’t get that anywhere else. So glad we booked here. "A lovely old building with very comfortable rooms. The bed was huge. The bathroom was lovely, with two shower heads. Breakfast items were placed in the hallway, which included fruit, pastries and cereal bars. There was access to a coffee machine at all times, although would be lovely to have more vegan and dairy-free options available!
The AC unfortunately couldn't get below 70°f, which meant we struggled with the heat a little, but otherwise the property was charming and the staff were very...

"The inn is old but what do you expect from the oldest nation.Its smack in the middle of the historic district, you step out and your right in it. Barbara was our staff person and was absolutely lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our next weekend with them during our visit"
