"We booked this place based on its great reviews, though our first impression was a bit confusing. The gate was closed and it didn’t feel very inviting at first. There was a number to text, so we reached out, and within a few minutes we were greeted and let in. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. We really loved the place, the room was clean and comfortable, and the garden was beautiful. Overall, it turned out to be a wonderful stay."

"Location! Location! Location! Seashell was a best-kept secret. It was a great deal for being so walkably close to downtown Key West and, to be honest, it looked a bit sketch from the street (faded paint and sign, construction company sign on a building, signs of construction) but the guy checking us in was cool and our hidden-away was unexpectedly absolutely amazing! Spacious, very comfortable and recently completely renovated. It was an oasis, and the shower was terrific! Such a pleasant...

"ROOM THEY PUT US IN LOOKS LIKE A MINI JAIL CELL!! NO AIR CIRCULATION THEY HAD A SMALL FAN INSIDE AND A LIGHT AND NO ROOM ON THE FLOOR AT ALL IM VERY CLUSTERFOBIC AND IT DEFINITELY COULDN'T BREATHE IN THERE! THERE WAS 10 ROOMS AND 2 BATHROOMS I JUST WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT NOT EVEN FOR A NIGHT ! ITS LISTED AS HOTEL BUT ITS A HOSTEL! "

"Easy parking. Chris the desk guy ( manager?) was friendly and helpful. The place is in need of sprucing up, but they are in the process of doing so and it's actually kind of a cool funky artsy place, very unique. Not your boring same old cookie cutter cheap hotel . I liked it, and Chris showed us the things he is doing to improve it and I liked his plan. In any case, the price was excellent and the bed comfy ( we were in a private room) I'd be happy to go back."

"False advertisement this place is infested with bugs I was bitten on my face in the lobby. The outside of the property is not what I was expecting in the most negative way."
