"The AC definitely kept the room cold. Breakfast was the same each morning, but did include eggs and sausage as well as waffles and cereal, oatmeal muffins, etc. We did not evaluate the pool. Ice machine worked. Coffee available 24 hours in the lobby. This is more of a classic motel set up with the doors facing outward toward the parking lot and has units on only 2 stories. It is also obviously an older facility, but our room seemed quite well kept. The staff we met were great and accommodating...

"I have never given a 5 star review....until now. Everything about this establishment is first rate and top shelf. From the friendly staff to the excellent room and property, I can't find a thing to complain about! Sunny and Lee take great care of their guests. And the Masala Mandala Indian food truck is the BEST! The location is right outside Key Largo, so if you want to visit but can't afford the high rent in the keys, you can't do better than the Travelodge in Florida City!"

"The property is pet friendly and has plenty of grassy areas. However, the grass needed cutting especially in the dog park area. We have stayed at this property in the past before it changed ownership and it met our expectations. This time it did not. Needs updates everywhere, none of the vending machines were working, you could see the outside through a sizable crack in the door, furniture in the rooms need to be updated (old and stained), toilets are very low and the seat was coming off....

"The room was spotless! Included WiFi, a flatscreen TV, complimentary water and a really comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked all throughout my stay. All appliances worked as they should. The room itself was very cute, modern and minimalist. Housekeeping staff were friendly. My only complaint really is the blinds. It would be nice to have some type of window curtains installed. Light shines through, even at night when cars pull in with their headlights on. "

"0 stars. Disgusting. Number one issue is Rats and bed bugs followed with dr*gs and prost*tut*on galore. Place needs to be fumigated for anything living. Front office staff is rude, poorly managed, not communicative nor professional & inconsiderate to any and all matters with attitude and disrespect. The room is invested with rats , bed bugs, fleas and spiders. I asked for clean sheets during my 10 day stay on day 3 and was told no and the w/d on site isn’t working and can only be used for their...
