"This is a historic site and a neat old building . There is a lot of stuff to do and see here. Cool board walk area with big koi pond, restaurant, small playground, mini golf, Ferris wheel, aquarium. Too much to list.
The light show in the lobby area was awesome..
Our room was clean and solid, no complaints. Staff was friendly.
Not really negatives, but just things to be aware of;
1. It’s kinda laid out weird and takes some time to figure out where you are going. If you’re here for any length of time I think most people can figure it out and get used to the layout. The hotel itself isn’t as big as I imagined reading some of the other comments prior to our stay.
2. If you are hauling a bunch of stuff, ask for a cart. It’s quite a haul without one
3. Don’t forget your room key. There are vestibules between the sections and you can get in them without a room key, but you’ll need a room key to get out without being forced to go outside.
4. Be sure to check out the boardwalk and restaurants behind the pool.
