"A surprisingly very quiet hotel as so close to the airport! We had an excellent stay in the quietest room ever! The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar was great overlooking the runway and the cocktails were fabulous, some with great spectacle! The food was very tasty. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and also very tasty. There is an indoor passageway direct to the airport terminals, which was super convenient! We were very impressed by this hotel, and would definitely stay again if flying from Terminal 2 or 3! Highly recommended!"

"Horrendous stay. Hotel was full of exchange students who spent the whole time screaming and running up and down the corridor. Banging doors and running from room to room. This continued until after 1am. Then started again at 5am. Reported to the hotel staff but made no difference. "

"Horrible experience. No elevators, no luggage trolleys. Their security staff( Mr. Abdi) refused to assist me with my luggage. I have bad knees and I was made to climb a flight of stairs to get some ice cubes because Mr. Abdi refused to assist me. There were some exceptional staff( Samantha. Moustafa, Sachiel). I had asked that the hotel manger, Mr. Gil Monsalve call me so that I coukd lodge these complaints but it has been 3+ days and I have not received a call from him. I would NEVER stay at Thistle Heathrow T5 Hotel ever again. There are always options in life.Thanks."

"We loved the hotel and the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially with our little boy. Great room size and lovely breakfast. The only thing was that we did not realise we will have to pay for the pool and with expensive parking and payment for the gym/spa entry, it can add up to quite a bit if you have not checked in advance. Apart from that, we had a very lovely stay and would love to return. "
