This is a friendly and unpressured environment, with compact but attractive rooms. The hotel offers a breakfast which is not to be missed. It is two blocks from the Fukuoka/Hakata rail hub but has surprisingly quiet and bright rooms.

Staff were nice, room (deluxe twin) was very big, felt more like a mini suite. The property was clean and in a great location. The only negative is the damp and musky smell through the hallways and although milder, this does permeate the rooms as well. If not for this last point, I would have rated 5 stars.

Excellent location, very nice room (window could be opened ;)), nice staff. Only let-down was the breakfast: Even though their official web page advertises "A healthy and beautiful vegetarian breakfast with Itoshima vegetables and Fukuoka delicacies to energize your body and mind from the morning" (something their internal TV info does in very similar words) and their photos show plant-based meat alternatives, the breakfast was VERY meat-based, to the point that the only vegetarian stuff was natto, salad, rice and white bread. So, definitely consider saving the 2000 JPY if you're vegetarian/vegan ;)
