Staff very friendly, my room in the cottage was lovely.
Breakfast was ok, with a small choice but was adequate.
You can go for a walk near the hotel but it is a very busy road with no pavements so take care."
"Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates.
The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!"

"Very impressed with the overall experience of our stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. The studio rooms were very well equipped and had some nice touches like dishwasher and coffee machines. Even tea towels, filter coffee and washing up liquid included !! Decent warm pool and hot tub. Restaurant wasn't bad and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again. "

Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented.

"Fantastic stay! The room was wonderful and thoughtfully catered for my dog. Often, pet-friendly rooms can feel a bit second-rate compared to others, but this was absolutely not the case. The room was spotless, cozy, and warm — complete with a dog bed, treats, bowls, and even poo bags, which was such a nice touch.
