Breakfast on the seventh floor was lovely both the food, view & staff. It was an about 15 to 20 minute walk into the old town but easy to do. We really enjoyed our time at the grand artist."

"Easy to navigate the city from this property. This is the old part of Bilbao and it is lovely. The mistake we made was to shop and tour the newer and trendier part of the city. The old city is a great experience and wonderful shops and restaurants. Anyway, loved the staff and the shower and beds were amazing. The hotel is small and well preserved. It is a little loud from the fifth floor facing the street, but we loved the stay and friendliness of all the people. Would love to come back...

"Hotel is 10 min walk yo the Guggenheim Museum and 20 min to the Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the room itself was disappointing, especially for a triple occupancy. It was quite small, and the beds were not very comfortable. The overall condition of the room felt worn, with older materials that didn’t match the price point. There were also some practical issues—there were flies in the room, and basic amenities were lacking. There were no USB...

"We had an issue with the AC but staff came and fixed it. Only decaf coffee packets available. No bedside lighting on the 3rd and 4th beds. But overall we loved the property. The location was perfect if you want to be in the middle of the action in old town."

"Decent 4 bed room. Sink in room, shower and toilet attached to room on either side. This makes reducing noise and light disturbance for other roomies difficult. Curtain on the bunks resolves the light issue only to a small extent. Noise from the street. Bring ear plugs. Hostel had daily entertainment activities and staff were very helpful. Reasonable buffet breakfast for extra €7. Towel could be rented for €3. Drawers under bed for storage. Bring your own padlock."
