"Clean nicely decorated room. Great breakfast and we had to leave early so they packed us a light breakfast to go on the last day. Staff were all helpful. Unfortunately….. my husband was robbed just down the street by 100 meters. His necklace was ripped off from where it was visible on the back of his neck. Apparently they work in gangs. I would stay there again but would be cautious on covering everything up safely while you walk anywhere in Barcelona."

The room darkening shades were perfect. We did not have the buffet, but I’m sure it was excellent. The water pressure was very good and the toiletries were quite nice. I liked the sliding door separating the bedroom from the washroom area. "

"We love the Room Mate hotels and the Gerard didn’t disappoint. The staff were all so friendly, the property had a roof top terrace that we used twice to unwind at the end of the day.
