"This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Colon and it was another wonderful stay. I love the helpful staff and the great central location in Barri Gothic. We arrived early and our room was ready, which I really appreciated. Our room was located on the 3rd floor that was totally renovated one month ago. Comfortable design room with super comfy bed. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. Roof top terrace has been totally renovated as well and just reopened without the pool. "

"At first the peculiar set up of the room, with the sink in the center of it and the shower and toilet in two little boxes, was off putting but it worked out. The view was spectacular. There was a rooftop swimming pool and bar which would have been spectacular but after a certain time of night the bar was open to the public so no chance to leisurely enjoy it. "great Oceanview and pool. Friendly staffs. Bed was big and very comfortable. Nice gym and 2 different pools. Breakfast buffet was good selection but not special. Room was large, bright, with good supplies of amenities. Close to both tram and metro stations. Modern and functional design. Only giving 4 stars because it was pricy at over $250 per night during weekdays and not even peak reason. I booked it last minutes but at this rate there're a lot more choices. "

"Great location just steps from Las Ramblas, the metro, shops and restaurants. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options were extensive and the views from the sky bar were amazing. The only thing we would have changed was we would have stayed longer."

"Nice hotel, friendly staff but maybe a little understaffed as far as restaurant and bellman. Room was good and bed comfy. Ceiling fan was a nice touch and we were able to keep room as cool as we like. Good location but you may have to walk to find other restaurants. Everything...pool, rooms, lobby and elevators are small but not a problem. It definitely is a boutique style hotel. "

"We had a nice stay at the Oriente Atiram it was a nice property with a great location. Easy to hop on the metro or just walk and explore. You will hear the metro that runs below the hotel, but this did not bother us…it’s just a low rumble. The reason for my four star and not five star is there is some need for upkeep around the property. Our room air conditioning did not work and the room would get very warm. They did bring a fan to our room at request. "

"The hotel was overlooking the busy street of La Rambla, which was very fun! You could look out and see the restaurants and people. There was street noise, but closing the window helped. It's also right over the subway line so you could feel rumbling but again it was not that loud."
