"What a beautiful hotel with lots of history. The town is quaint and very beautiful. We hiked through the lower part of the alps and experienced cows up close and actually walked near a summer home and barn. The only sounds you could hear were the bells on the cows and their mooing. "Good central location only 5-10 min walk from Interlaken West train station. Was a nice location in the suburbs and the host was very friendly and gave some good tips on where we were hiking that day. Breakfast was nice and varied, and our beds were comfortable. Somewhere to store our luggage at the property after checkout while we hiked around Interlaken prior to our departure from the nearby train station which has direct train to Zurich airport. Very good spot!"

Offered 5 star hotel accessories such as scale, robes, slippers, great hair products,etc. The owner needs to throw away or donate all the antiques that clutter every hallway and corner. "This place was nice to stay in interlaken. Close you interlaken west station, close to markets. Interlaken is not a big town so you can walk everywhere if you have your stay booked in interlaken. Because its a self check in there is no one in the front desk to get service. If you need extra service such as towels, you would need to talk to people in the morning around 10am when they are here to clean rooms."
