"This is a very big and busy hotel. We stayed in the Sands Tower which was very quiet and the views were amazing. The hotel restaurants are not the best and are overpriced, the atmosphere was not brilliant. The breakfast buffet was lovely, plenty of choice."

"1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. "The location and the view are great, just next to the sea and far from the traffic noise. There are a few places to eat out in walking distance, a small grocery and bus stop. The pool was not yet open, breakfast has a rich choise although very basic, the staff are super friendly."

"The mattresses were too soft, had a hard time getting a good night sleep. A/C wasn't operating. The hotel switches it on and off depending on the season. "Winter" in Malta is still warm enough to not consider sleeping with A/C farfetched."
