"Staff very welcoming explained everything at check in .the room was perfect everything exceptionally clean and fresh towels and bedding pristinely white and good quality . Easy to find and not far from Cambridge . The breakfast was good a choice for everybody’s palate . Would stay again if we were visiting the area again ."

"The lock on our assigned room malfunctioned so we were moved to an adjacent room. That room was adequate, though the bathroom was very small and thus awkward to use. "We needed a night, close by as attending a family wedding and the cricketers was in the perfect location. The pub is fab and foods excellent, accommodation was as expected."

"Check in was easy, room was okay for price , I asked to add some nice touches as it was my anniversary and I’d pay extra, they just left a note on the bed. Could not use the swimming pool as advertised on the booking as swimming lessons were being done. Staff didn’t tell me that even though they gave me towels and told me where the pool was."

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "

"Nice hotel. Good restaurant in the hotel itself and a couple restaurants within the small community. There is also a grocery store close by. Cambridge is a nice 40min walk and has plenty of dining options."

"The building itself is beautiful. The bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee packs and a kettle available. Plenty of hot water. Quiet surroundings. We walked around the gardens and then walked to the local pub which is in easy walking distance. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices served buffet style. Park and ride into Cambridge is available just up the road and property is very close to the American Cemetery."

"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"Extremely personable landlord, Craig. Room was prepared ready for us to check in early (off to a wedding after a long drive) and sandwiches provided on request which was very much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Little communal kitchen area provided everything needed for a late night snack and breakfast which was a nice touch. Heard from local friends at the wedding that the food is great too. "Great location. Beautiful outside terrace with great food. Service is friendly but not as quick as we would have liked. Restaurant food is great too. Spa booked up way in advance so could not use that for this stay. We would happily return."

"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud!
