Khách sạn Great and Little Hampden

"Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!"

"All was great"

"Stayed for a wedding 💒 every thing was thought of and loved our room opposite the main venue … real milk! Loads of charm , great Fullers Find xx"

"Lovely warm and cosy room. Very comfortable. Just want you want when planning a trip to the area with the changing seasons. Great location for Downley Hill walks, West Wycombe and Princes Risborough, Aylesbury, Thames and Oxford. Nice helpful and obliging receptionist Narinder and the smiley guy whose name I cannot remember. Thanks, and see you again soon. 😃"

"Lovely old building with smells of a proper English b&b"

"The hotel is a lovely building, the staff were nice"

"We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

"Good convenient location on the M40 Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly."

"Although a little tired and dated the hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff is what makes the hotel, friendly and professional. Helpful and welcoming and only too happy to give information with a special mention to Diana in the restaurant. The location was great, with plenty of parking. I would stay here again."

"We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places. There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. There was also a crack in the shower, and the water was filling up when using the sink, which wasn’t ideal. The spa was lovely, but we were disappointed that we had to pay...

"We booked a Premium room which turned out to be in the ground floor. It was quite dark with minimal Room lighting. Also the bathroom was quite small with very little space to set up sponge bags etc plus hardly any hanging hooks for towels. I mentioned this at checkout and the very nice receptionist said if I ha d mentioned at the start they could have moved us to an upper floor after the weekend, but the hotel was pretty full when we arrived so I guess we just drew a short straw?"

"We felt like we were lottery winners staying at Danesfield. What a place, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious, and our room was very comfy."

"Heavy rain caused a leak in the gents onto the floor which the staff seemed to ignore, just putting a yellow wet floor sign outside the toilet door. The floor was very slippy and dangerous. Should have had a mop and bucket there."

"Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again."

"Lovely room comfortable bed staff friendly and helpful and a lovely breakfast"
