"If you are looking for a hotel at Terminal 5 in Heathrow there are closer options. You would think this property is located in the airport like the description states but this hotel is 20-25 minutes from the terminal and $60 in an Uber. We booked this as a quick overnight stay to take an early morning flight and were disappointed. While driving to the hotel we past at least 5 other hotels that were within 5-10 minutes. "This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. The breakfast buffet was good, but could benefit by rotating items and providing more fresh fruit such as berries. The restaurant is only rated average for dinner with a very traditional and boring menu.
