"The property is ideally located so everything you would need is within walking distance. Very clean and the cider and soup at check-in were outstanding! Recommendations for dinner were spot in from the staff and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! "

"We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in our room because we had so much to do and see. Main Street Motel provided basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Our room on the first floor was clean and comfy, and we were able to park right by our room door. Safe location and in easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks, ice cream. Friendly staff and 24/7 coffee, water and snacks in the main office. Would stay here again."

"Breakfast was outstanding especially the blueberry cake!!!"

"The property is great! Perfect walkable downtown location. My room kind of felt like a terrarium (room 11 with all the windows), but the draperies were sufficient to create privacy. The WiFi didn’t work in my room unfortunately. Staff were lovely and I appreciated the breakfast! All in all would stay again. "

"Excellent inn with many rooms but didn’t feel crowded even at breakfast in the indoor/outdoor spaces. Free private parking and walkable in town. Cute garden and gas fire pit outside also with outdoor rocking chairs on the front porch, and a side area for eating or resting outside. "Loved this place on the side of the hill. We had a waterfront view and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was nice, a few hot items but it satisfied you. Staff was super nice and there is ample parking. If you like to walk, you could walk into to town but it’s a little hike. We did drive into Bar Harbor for dinner and paid to park in a lot but finding somewhere to eat around 7, without waiting 90 minutes was hard. "Place was clean, views were outstanding but we didn’t see anyone until the next day. Also (this may have been operating error but) we thought we were in a cabin but ended up in the lodge… they did give good recommendations for breakfast, dinner and Schoodic loop…"
