"Comfortable upstairs rooms rooms in a cosy local pub hotel reminiscent of accomodation of an English Country Pub atmostphere. A breakfast kitchen and lounge along with shared bathrooms make for rooms make for an interesting communal atmostphere with fellow travellers unlike large corporate hotels. Fantastically located opposite a lovely local park and nearby shopping strips and restaurants of North Sydney of Crows Nest just a medium stroll away."

"This hotel was warm and inviting. The room was large and comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the noise level. My room was the first on the 2nd floor landing and the restroom for the pub customers was on the landing below mine. The door going into the restroom needs oiling! It was squeaky and I could hear the hand dryer everytime someone used it. The noise from outside was bad as well and the street seemed to be a major drag strip. It is a lovely old hotel."

We stayed 4 nights, and had a room which overlooked rooftop garden internally - only complaint was the room was a little dark and with the limited outlook. Next time would request a street facing room. Very good value for money though. Would stay again."

The room was cleaned every day with chocolate turndowns at night. Location was perfect! Lots of activity and close to transportation. Definitely worth money spent for a wonderful time."
