"Great experience, reasonable rates"

"First there was no hot water like warm showers at best. Room wasn’t cleaned properly, still garbage, crumbs on carpet. Had to ask several times over two days to get a fourth bath towel. Maid service only comes every two days. Hotel in a good under from the French quarter. Your better finding a hotel closer and paying the parking fees."

"Quite literally the worst hotel option possible. Walked in at 9:20, before check in cut off, and the front desk lady said she ran out of keys…? So after 10 minutes she hands me a key, walk to the room, open the door to beer cans and a clearly slept in bed. I bolted out, scared. Ran to the desk to request another room, she gave us the new room key, got to the room and it smelt of weed, smoke, and other indescribable scents. Again, ran to the front to request a refund. "Everything is nice"

"It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay."

"Great location in the middle of the French Quarter and easy access to lots of fun activities. Noisy outside late into the night. The rooms with balconies and windows on the front side of the hotel do not block the noisy people partying in the streets. Hotel had great vibes, it’s old and has a lot of great character."

Our 3rd floor balcony room overlooking the courtyard was spacious and all the little extras were a really nice touch. The hotel staff could not have been nicer.
