"The hotel is indeed in the city centre with lots of restaurants and shops all within walking distance from the hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and the elevator was particularly quaint and interesting. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The area was as advertised. There are 2 bakeries nearby that produce absolutely scrumptious pastry (but hurry, they sell out fast). We did not need parking. "I only stayed one day, but the service was excellent. I told the front desk staff I was there to celebrate my birthday, and they even gave me a room upgrade. The hotel is super central and safe. The breakfast was fresh and there was a good variety. The room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely return."

"This is a cute older building but with that comes older building quirks. Tiny bathrooms. The shower area was probably 2’ square. The hot water smells bad. Not much for noise reduction between the rooms or hallways. Night time noise was an issue for trying to sleep.
