"There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. "The bedding and towels were lovely and clean, couldn't fault. The shower tray left a lot to be desired, along with the shower mat and windowsill. There was no way of opening/closing the windows as they were too high. The same with the curtains. A long bamboo rod attached to the top could help with opening/closing? Staff? Hardley saw a soul in the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was sufficient for what I needed."

"I'm not really sure what to say. We arrived at check-in time to be told our rooms weren't ready. A couple who were also waiting told us that the hotel's air conditioning had broken in the rooms. It was blisteringly hot in the UK and we had purposely booked this hotel because it has a/c. Prices were already very high due to the many Goodwood Festival of Speed guests staying and we were in the middle of a heatwave. "Basically I booked this for its location and price. Was very grateful to find we had been upgraded to a family room in the basement. Sadly though other residents weren’t as thoughtful and kept us awake till nearly 3 in the morning, slamming doors and talking loudly outside our window and in hallway. Also room was stiflingly hot. There was a fan but it didn’t reduce heat. Can’t fault how polite and helpful staff were with booking."

There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. "Property need maintenance floor ve deep dip hiding and covering with carpet near dinning area i was about to tripped furniture snd fan was wobbly however it was ok for one night stay. We had good sleep peaceful area."
