5/5 - Excellent
Very glad I changed my plans and included this as part of my trio to Japan - very beautiful area.

The room setup is a nice, more traditional layout; and the included choice of your kind of outfit is really fun. This hotel was quite a nice surprise considering the location, all for really good value

There was the train track right front of this apartment. And it works 24hours. Every 20min trains pass by in middle of night. We couldn’t sleep.

If you’re reasonably fit and can manage lots of steps, seriously consider climbing Misen on foot - the trails are quiet, beautiful, and actually rather gentle, whi the cable cars are pricy, often unpleasantly crowded, and only take you halfway anyway.
Busy with tourist shops and restaurants through the day, pretty quiet at night. Have dinner early!
Pick up some of the local momiji cakes (shaped like maple leaves). You can see a few of the producers making them before you purchase. The smell is incredible!
