"I was in a mixed dormitory and everything was nice and clean. They kept the general area cooler which is nice since it gets hot inside the bed/capsule but they also provide fans if you request one. I never had to wait to use the bathroom or one of the showers. There is laundry and vending machines in the building but no change machine so just keep that in mind. "This area really surprised me. It is remote but is beautiful! The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. I was expecting continuous hot water flow like in the public onsen."
