"Amazing stay at Castle Kanaloa! We rented two units for our large family vacation and both were very clean, had amazing ocean views, and accommodated us very well. Would definitely stay again!"

"Fully equiped kitchen, clean & good sized. Hamoock on the balcony was great to enjoy the sounds of the frogs & waves crashing in the distance. Great spot for my needs. Easy acess to the National Park without dealing with city traffic."

"Location is great, just 2 minute walk to the water and less than 10 for a swim. We enjoyed staying Kailau/Kona. The condo is well maintained as is the property. We had to call the property manager to reset the door code when we arrived ... it just took her 5 minutes to come and a few minutes to do it. This condo is small, particularly the kitchen (although the fridge is fullsize) and the bed is just okay, but it has a nice balcony to sit on. It worked well for us."

"We had a wonderful time exploring the Island for the first time. The property is clean and well kept, all the basics are stocked. The location is perfect for day trips to Volcano NP, Waimea, Hawi, and Hilo. Only problem is there is so much to see and never enough time! Looking forward to void next visit! "

"Overall I think the accommodations would have been perfect for a solo traveler, but I was uncomfortable. The mattress felt like it was very worn and saggy and there were popped springs that poked my back. I woke up in pain each night. I was also not informed that there wouldn't be WiFi until I got there. There wasn't any warning about this when I made the reservation and I had planned to make work zoom calls. It's a lovely space and lovely idea, but it could use some improvements for the price. "

"Expedia never supplied access to the property, even after multiple calls. Property manager was no where to be found. Expedia call center didn't help or find me and my guest another place to stay, even though they said the would. I found another place to stay on my own for double what I paid Expedia. Sadly, Expedia never offered to pay for it nor have they refunded my money for the original reservation they didn't fulfill. "
