The property itself, is lovely — with lots shops, an ABC store, coffee shop, restaurant, as well as pool, bar and small beach. "many things to like about this resort but also few criticisms too. A big highlight that was beneficial to our stay was the complimentary refillable water bottles. There are many refillable water stations throughout the resort and we took them out everyday around the island. Another amenity is the free shuttle rides throughout the Mauna Lea district for food options or entertainment. I did like the proximity to a private beach for snorkeling and/or swimming. "The staff were friendly and their food at dinner was excellent! Pretty pricey but worth it! Room was located on the second floor which made us seniors very difficult carrying our suitcases up! The twin beds were so tiny and a bit uncomfortable! So we decided to leave after one night of a 4 night stay!"
