"We stayed in the corner ocean front room, and the views could not be beat! The balcony was huge and had a great breeze, and the wall to wall windows let you see it all. We ate several times at the hotel bar, every time sitting oceanfront. Perfect setting with great food—the breakfast burrito is a must. The pool was also nice with big padded lounge chairs. And the parking on site was easy, but it was also easy to walk into downtown Kailua-Kona to restaurants and shops. Overall, a fantastic place...

"First of all, they had the AC on BEFORE we got there, it felt so good when we opened the door! Second, we really liked the option that we could cook some meals inside the unit with everything they provided. Get fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blender (!), portable double burner, pots & frying pans, cooking & eating utensils, bowls, plate, mugs, glasses.... "Million dollar view. Rooms are quaint. No A/C or TV but constant breeze kept us cool and who go's Hawaii to watch TV anyway ? Small but nice pool. Laid back atmosphere . We loved it. Breakfast on our deck with the waves crashing in was the perfect start to our day. "

"We loved our stay at Kehena house! We were greeted by Stephen when we arrived and given a quick tour. They were hosting a Pride potluck that day and he kindly invited us to come eat and join in as guests of the house. Everyone we met was friendly and we felt safe to be ourselves. "Just a lovely apartment - safe, 10 min drive from the town center, pool, beaches were close by and the ocean right behind! Kitchen was well equipped, balcony was beautiful, parking was plenty and mainly it was central to almost everything. We loved everything about the property. We also got pool towels, which was included in the resort fee, and we could take it anywhere and we can return them later. "
