"This resort is listed as newly renovated in the guest rooms but that’s a lie. The resort is holding on to dear life. It’s very outdated and the videos and pictures they have must be super old. So misleading. I felt that we got scammed and deserve our money back."

Keep in mind that the check-in process isn't typical. If you want A/C for your room or have any needs for on-site staff, you must check-in before the office closes at 5pm. "The room, staff and parking were all great. We loved the convenience of being close to everything there is to eat and beaches to go to. But as far as the TV and internet, it was not useful. The TV would not connect to the internet, so we spent 4 days with nothing to watch at night. The same went with the Internet. The connection with the internet worked on the table in the room, but once you get to the bed the connection cuts off. It was strange. But overall, would come here again just for the...

"First of all it is a very big property so there are long walks to whatever you want to go to and the tram is very slow and takes a while to come get you. The restaurants all close early which I find very unreasonable for travelers. Air conditioning did not work in one of my rooms. Just not overly satisifed."

"We were so surprised when we rolled up on this property. It was well maintained & beautifully landscaped. The cottage was decorated with a colorful flair. The bathroom was roomy & had a big shower. The porch looked out over the property facing the ocean & great sunrises. We stayed 4 nights & were genuinely sad to leave. After 10 days traveling, this was the perfect place to relax"

"The lokahi lodge is a very comfortable stay. It’s like staying in a cabin. Very quiet location right next to volcano national park. The room was clean, spacious, and nice. Good stay for anyone wanting to visit the park"
