"We love the Hilton and always stay at the Lagoon/Makai tower. The majority of the staff was lovely and helpful-there are a few that need to be reminded that they are here to help US. There was definitely a towel shortage and that added a little bit of extra effort every day. I feel like the resort is a little rundown from our last few visits but we still love it. The lagoon and pool are still magical for our kids and we can't wait to come back."

"My family and I had a very nice stay at the Outrigger in Kona. The hotel was close to everything yet far enough away from downtown Kona that it felt peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed the hotel room, the gym, and the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. We had one problem with our air conditioner that was quickly resolved by the hotel staff."

"Stayed July 2026 - Family of 4 Highly recommended. Small mini fridge was very helpful. AC worked well. Get the room with a view, it is lovely to sit out on the balcony. Yes, its dated but it is very well kept and you can really appreciate the beauty of the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful with my several encounters. The grounds are beautiful. We will return."
