"We just did a weekend trip to Leeds and stumbled across this gem on hotel.com. It was the best stay away we have ever had in the UK! The owners were so kind and welcoming, they really do make you feel like you are a member of the family. The house itself was absolutely stunning, the garden was full of flowers with a cute vegetable patch. If you are looking for a place to stay that gives an old English county house vibe this is perfect. I also have a lot of dietary requirements as I am gluten...

"We stayed here for 1 night whilst children were at Leeds Festival and we were on the 1am pick up. Ideal location. Loads of parking. Good pub food in The Stables Pub with excellent service. Nice, large, Comfortable family room and a decent breakfast.no complaints. Would definitely stay again."

"I ve called the reception two times before arrival and both of the receptionist were so professional and kind. The gentleman (I think night team) that check us in was very polite friendly and efficient fast.
The hotel looks old but lovely in the same times and room is very big and spacious.
We only stay one night but of course the room could have more maintenancebut for us is not been a problem while we were only there for one night."

"Perfect hotel but an abrupt French check in member of staff. I travelled with my 11 year old son, we were severally delayed on the trains, we got to the hotel at 2300 and the member of staff still didn’t believe it was us that made the booking. Asked for 2 firms or ID.
I would stay again if this member of staff was nothing to do with it check in."
