Khách sạn Heights of Achterneed , Strathpeffer

"Good stay"

"This should be a marquee hotel with its history and design. But it's a very tired property being sweated by owners for the last bit of value. Hotel's business is mainly coach parties, so the few rack-rate customers like us feel marginalised. Seriously understaffed to serve and clean up after 3 coach parties at breakfast. Cleaning of the public areas is skimpy. Maintenance likewise. Barely adequate overall for £140/night at end of Sept. For the record, I think I should have spent a little...

"Amazing daily breakfast and very hospitable staff. Beautiful grounds and great location. I would highly recommend staying here."

"The heating and plumbing on the property have some issues but the building itself is absolutely a castle! Dinner was very nice and there were excellent GF options. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The ambiance of the property was fabulous. It is an old building and was charming. The main bed was comfortable BUT the futon's were actually chairs that folded out and they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There was no staff available. It was all contactless. The bar was the same no people. If you didn't have cell phone to use the QR code you could not get a drink. The breakfast if you didn't pay for it in advance was not available as expected. I found the place charming but unwelcoming. However...

"I had a comfortable night stay at this hotel. The hotel is a little tired but reflected in low price which seems fair."

"Wonderful staff and location."

"Loch View guest house is in a stunning location. Fiona and Derek were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend."

"It was expensive for what it is !"

"Breakfast buffet was poorly stocked and serviced was not great. Cooked breakfast was good."

"My stay at Croft 21 Glamping was brilliant. I had travelled from Glasgow up to Inverness for work over the weekend. I arrived on the Saturday night and checked in smoothly, the pod had pretty much everything you could need. It was extremely clean and modern, everything worked fine I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. I would definitely come back to this place and bring my girlfriend as she would love it just as much as I did. If I was to think of a way to improve the pod I would...

"Only stayed one night bed and breakfast so can't comment much except on room which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well laid out with a good range of food and drink."

"Sehr schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück war sehr lecker."

"Magical hideaway just 15 minutes from downtown Inverness. Wonderful!"

"Could have been better if the staff were better"

"The Palace is in a great location , easy walking across the bridge to the Old Town and the Inverness Castle and Museum. Staff are delightful and eager to please. The breakfast is quite good."
