"Clean and large room"

"PROS: Comfortable bed, nature view (even side of hallways), reasonable hot breakfast. CONS: $8 parking per day, lights in room were mostly dim, soap amount was low at beginning of my stay, hotel itself and the room showed many signs of wear, toilet is quite low hence ultra uncomfortable."

"Sack of garbage by the room door. Couch was stained. Parking lot filled with potholes. We cancelled our stay and went elsewhere."

"We paid extra to have a 'walk-in shower, only to find every room has the same. We are both in our 80s and there were no ground floor rooms available - ups two flights, and no elevator. The condition of the place is poor. Cheap materials and novice workmanship. Room was less than half the size shown in the photo. Vending machines only ion the foyer, took our money and gave no produce. Desk clerk claimed he could not help. NEVER AGAIN."

"Love this hotel. They have remodeled it since last we stayed. Looks great. Issues. The bathroom in the lobby. Someone broke the door off the stall. Not sure how long it was like that but no one was trying to fix it. There was a stained bed sheet by laundry room in the hall. Not hotels fault but someone should have not let it sit for an entire night. Lastly, hall by rooms 130s smelt like animal urine. If guests are extended they should clean after themselves. "This hotel looks a little bit like it's from an old horror movie. Very long dark hallways. We entered into our room and there were splatters of something running down the wall, some sort of white stains all over the bag the blow dryer was in, the bottoms if the doors were all splintered and I could not bring myself to walk barefoot on the carpet. We lifted the mattress up to check for cleanliness and found a used sleep mask. I would not stay there again."

"The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Didnt really like how they had it set up. It seemed very compact and if there was more than a handful of people it would be crowded. All employees we encountered were super friendly. Would definitely stay there again."

"Advertised as free breakfast, NO breakfast was offered at this location. Coffee and tea available 24/7, that's all. Rooms were horrible. The stench of smoke as we opened the door was so bad. "WHOEVER CLEANS THE PREMISES needs to be educated in how to clean the room. I cleaned the tub and bathroom before I would use it, it is still stained, a lot of grime came off but it is sanitized as well as the floor and flat surfaces. (A while back I started bringing my own cleaning supplies.) The rinsed towel tells the tale. "The Spark property is seemingly brand new and beautiful. The room was spacious, bed very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The bathtub was larger than most, and clean. Breakfast offered choices and was very good. Location was safe with ample parking. All in all, the hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially for the modest cost."
