"Staff was very friendly. Only 1 picnic table to sit at outside, the grass hadn’t been cut at all, no one used it. Room very basic, no tissues, facecloth, microwave or fridge. T.V. only had a few channels and the volume wouldn’t go past 15. If window is open it was hard to hear. Grocery store about 10 minute walk, ocean about 20 minutes."

"We attended TOR rooms for a nice getaway before my wife gives birth, we had been approximately 3 years ago and had a great time. Unfortunately with the new owners it has gone completely downhill. Upon entering the room there were around 8-9 large spiders. Ordinarily, a couple of spiders I would chuck out of the window. This time however it was almost like an infestation. I had to kill about 6 and flush them before my wife would even settle. We could not get through to the staff on the phone so...

"We stayed in Willow, the staff were so lovely and attentive! They work so hard to make everything nice for you . The balcony was lovely this morning. We did the walk around the nature reserve and boat trip was great! Pete the captain was so nice and very knowledgable. We had the best time and Will definitely come back soon . "When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "Really nice stay"

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Falstaff in Canterbury. The hotel is in a great location to explore the city and there are lots of good restaurants to choose from in the area. We paid for breakfast included option and it was well worth the price - very good cooked breakfast options, and continental options were adequate - all the food was fresh and nicely presented. We really enjoyed the 6-7pm happy hour in the bar - it's a great idea and a good way to break the day between sightseeing and...

"the hotel itself was great, staff were very helpful. They could do with installing double glazing in the building however, as it got quite noisy early in the morning given how close traffic / heavy lorries pass to the hotel. We were in the top floor, but were still woken up by it early doors!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this almost 8 century old hotel with Alice in Wonderland maze of hallways, tilted floors and lichen/moss encrusted roof tiles. Location is perfect, rooms quiet/clean, beds comfortable, staff kind and welcoming. "

"Room had mould and not very clean. Paid for bed and breakfast but we had to leave early and they couldn’t provide breakfast, again tried to charge us again on the way out. Music was blasting all night and got no sleep. "

"In an excellent location across the street from where the action is and a short (and beautiful) walk from the train station, this seven-room hotel is dated and quirky, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp and new. Beware, the stairs are not for folks with the slightest mobility issues. I’d recommend it to people willing to trade ultimate modern comfort for the sake of inexpensive accommodations. "
