"This was a wonderful accommodation. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The views were incredible. Sadly it rained a lot so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Star the manager could not be any nicer. Anything we wanted she was there to get it for us. Our rooms were cleaned daily and amazing snack drawer was filled. Refrigerator was filled with drinks and replenished daily. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Much better than standard continental breakfasts normally...

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Geyser Lookout B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They live on site and are both very friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to ensure every guest has an excellent stay. "I would highly recommend staying here. Very friendly staff, the room was comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake, and great ammenities such as the lakeside hot tub, swimming dock and kayaks. The breakfast was also great. Fluffy eggs and a selection of other tasty items. Quiet and relaxing!"

"Tucker away behind a beautiful lawn with cool sculptures, the Hana lodge was a great one nite retreat after hiking the Tongariro crossing. Hot tub and sauna appreciated and a gourmet 3 course meal was amazing! Thank you to the lovely staff!"

"The hotel advertises a free airport shuttle, but they do not have one. I contacted them before arrival to arrange pickup, and they told me the shuttle does not exist. I had to pay for a taxi. When I asked the hotel to reimburse the taxi cost, they refused and told me to contact Expedia. This is misleading and caused unnecessary expense."

"The Deluxe Queen Queen room faces the road and houses look straight into your room. The linen curtains help to filter this out. The room itself had been refreshed recently. The bathroom was however was still in its origional condition. The covers around the shower fittings fell off a few times. The water filter down stairs needed replacing, therefore would not work towards the end of our stay. This was not resolved. "Having the open washroom concept situated in the room was very uncomfortable and inconvenient, also not shown in the photos."

"We traveled from the USA and this was our first stop. We loved it! Yes your patio smells like sulfur sometimes, but that’s to be expected when staying right next to the active geothermal lake. They were very helpful and responsive to all our questions/requests. The breakfast had a great variety and the quality of food, juice, and drinks was truly surprising. The room was very clean, the parking was very convenient."
