"We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived! We were provided bottled water and cookies. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and washcloths. The continental breakfast was good and the staff kept all the different food items stocked. The staff was always polite and eager to assist if needed."

"Their breakfast could do with some upgrades. Very few items, not enough alternatives and they run out very quickly. A nice stay experience except for the breakfast buffet."

"This hotel did not meet the reputation associated with a Marriott hotel. The mattress was old, haggard and bumpy; very uncomfortable to sleep in. It should have been replaced a long time ago. The pillows were all equally hard and uncomfortable. Ended up using a decorative pillow instead. When I tried calling the front desk, the phone didn’t work either. What a great disappointment."

"Fine option for the price, although the road in and approach to the hotel suggests a lesser experience. I’d stay again but wouldn’t recommend it to most people I know."

"Property is in the Old Salem downtown area… area was OK, but seemed to be a lot of police presence, and some homeless frequenting the property!! Room was clean and offered ample space, customer service was fantastic!!"

"My room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Be aware that breakfast is not included but is available for a price. Parking is available right next door in a parking deck for $15 a day. Good location in the heart of downtown."

"I informed the staff that the internet was down at 4:00 pm and it was stll down at 8:00 am. They kept showing me on their phones that it was up but it wasn't. I missed getting a lot of crutial work done that put me way behind. Pool water was clowdy and there was mold growing on the sides. The pool is in poor condition with cracked loose tiles on the perimeter."
