"Rom/Cabin was roomy and cozy. It had a fireplace which needed wood. I did not use this. The pool and hot tub was nice and used during my stay. Very quiet location with the exception of highway noises. The property is good for dog owners with area for dog walking and potty stations. Very enjoyable stay"

"As with much of Big Bear, the buildings are older, but they are well maintained and rooms/condos are updated. It’s clean. Our lake view rooms had a lake view. My only drawback is that parking is tight, barely enough spaces and we were here during the week. Otherwise - great, and if we return to the area, we would stay here again."

"Fabulous 3 night- 2 day stay. We arrived later than expected and found our key waiting for us. The cabin was so cute, clean, and well-appointed. Cool air at night through the screened windows and fan, and a quiet clientele respectful of the quiet hours. Charming center fireplace and table with candles in common area set such a lovely , restful atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool, free bikes, and free canoes. I read and rested in a Adirondack chair for hours uninterrupted and watched the ducks...

"The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else."

"We loved out stay! Our cabin had everything we needed, and space to chill. When it got a touch warm, our hosts were quick to bring us a fan. The property is super cute with a modern vibe and a perfect kitchen. Our kids loved the queen bunk beds and the games in the cabin made for great memories. We’ll be back!"

"Everything was fine,my kids really enjoyed the playground the only thing that was bothering me was the fridge not working properly my drinks and milk were warm. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed to make a meal. My family wants to go back next year."

"Renovation was on progress during our visit and were assigned on the next building across the street. We booked a standard room without A/C not recommended during summer, winter would be suffice. But the location of this establishment, you don’t need to drive around to visit shop while you can just walk down the street and your there. Veterans park across the street and you can rent kayak/paddle boards and other water activities. As NorCal resident and 45 mins away from Lake Tahoe, we find Big...

"We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any problems while we were there. This a self-checkin place, so we didn’t meet any staff but everything was well explained and provided in advance that we didn’t need to contact them. The location is also a few minutes from the village, which is very convenient. The one thing that we were not prepared for was the coyote screams in the middle of night, but now that we know how they sound like we won’t be scared next time."

"Truly a beautiful spot with lake views, marina right next to it if you rent a boat and literally one minute walk to the village. Tons to do!!"

"Getting into the room was very frustrating and the code they gave didn’t work. We did message the facility and it was quite a few minutes before they responded.There was an employee of the restaurant that let us in. The Air Conditioner didn’t work and the room was 91*, it made very uncomfortable to say the least."

"Carpet was very dirty. Walking around in it barefoot gave us almost black feet. It need to be deep cleaned. Staff was very friendly and helpful though."

"Nice place, shabby sheek very clean, big screen TV. Big windows you can open, no central air but room has a ceiling fan and small rolling air conditioner. There is also a super cute retro fridge/freezer stocked with cold drinks and a small microwave. Beware there is no 24 hour attendant on site. We locked ourselves out and waited 15 minutes for someone to come back to the premises to let us back in. Also, no hot water for showers; otherwise, nice accommodations."

"As of June 2026, the pictures don't reflect it's true condition. We stayed in room 17, (lake view) which is rundown and needs improvement. The main door and hardware are interior grade and didn't feel secure. In the pictures, note the 'wetbar' and TV location. The 32" TV is more than 15' from the beds, like you need binoculars to view it. Our bath vanity was loose from the wall and had no hot water. The shower tile had more grout repairs than original grout. And the single light fixture left...
