"Great stay in Big Bear at Lagunitas Lodge. They were very helpful and friendly at the front office. The lodge has a game room with pool tables, an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi and the lake was walking distance for fishing. I had a great stay. Thanks Lagunitas Lodge ! "

"In general, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The trip was in the beginning of April so really it was between seasons. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There were issues of noise after hours. However, they were responsive to the noise complaints. The cabin (Cabin 7) was clean and comfortable. "The Hotel near the lake is fairly quiet. Great blinds, curtains, large bathtub in my upstairs room. WiFi didn’t work in my room, it was a slight inconvenience for me, I guess that it’s down, not strong enough or something. The room is spacious. I was very comfortable. View of the lake was nice. There was construction during my stay but it was bearable. I highly recommend booking direct and save lots!"

"The bath fan didn't work so there was mold on the ceiling and not great when somebody else used the bathroom. Toilet was so small it was uncomfortable. We got pretty bad sleep because of how noisy the neighbors were and how thin the walls were. Could hear everything. Good location and good customer service brought it up to a three star."

"Gorgeous property right on the lake! Easy walking to the marina for boating activities and super close to town and restaurants and the village! The restaurant on site Del Nonna is super fun and yummy and you can eat in a bubble dome. Highly recommend at night when the little twinkling lights are on. We came for spring break and luckily came on the first day that the lake opened the only thing that was a disappointment was the complimentary bikes weren’t available to use."

"My husband and I recently spent two nights in the Honeymoon Cottage to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The grounds are incredibly charming—the pond and string lights create such a "cute" and cozy atmosphere. We absolutely loved having our own private hot tub and were impressed by the cleanliness; the cottage was tidy, and the bedding smelled fresh. "We were disappointed with our stay due to multiple problems. Check-in was super frustrating, we never received the expected text for mobile check-in, and when I got through on the phone they told me you can only check in through text. They can’t do it over the phone, which makes no sense in a mountain town where cell service is spotty. It took almost half an hour to get the text then go through their online system to finally get another text with the code. A creek was actively flowing directly...
