"We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer! The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag. The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!"

"A little gem in Dronfield. Great location with good parking and an overflow parking area just a stones throw away if needed. The bedroom was nice and quiet despite the fact it was Friday night and there was a DJ in the bar area. The breakfast (full english) was amazing and all the staff were attentive and very welcoming. Will be back and have already recommended the place to my brothers and sister if they are in the area. "

"This hotel is located in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The rooms are charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and the bar in the evening. Nice wine selection! Its a great locattion for visiting Chatsworth House and the beautful scenery of the Peak Distict."

"I am full of praise for The Peacock Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view over the garden. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me.
