Mostly clean but we encountered a few unwelcome hairs in the bath, and the hot water was not very hot! Unappetising breakfast which we declined, but they tried charge us nethertheless. So an average experience which we will not be...

"I liked the location and the surroundings, the chief Concierge's superior efficiency in arranging difficult reservations at the full racecourse restaurant, however not the lack of pragmatisme to solve a minor issue in the overall scheme of things: I had two bookings , 1 day followed by 3 days consecutively, the 4 days warranting free breakfasts - the hotel refused on the basis that this did not represent a four day reservation!!?
Sunday dinner was disgusting, four Veal dishes were overgrilled...

"The property was surreal from start to finish. The pool, the tennis courts, the fruit/veg trees and plants, everything. A fridge in the room would have been nice but minor stuff. We wish we had more time there! Thank you."
